From the name we bear, we envision children into God-fearing men and women of excellence of integrity and leadership equipped with the 21 st century life-long skills. We shall start to lay this foundation when the little ones are entrusted to us until we can serve them through college.

Nurture: As an institution that recognizes the Sovereignty and the Power of God, we will do our best to NURTURE the relationship we have with God our Maker and Lord not in any form of religion but freedom to call upon Him and worship Him.
Integrity: We believe that everyone must bring to bear INTEGRITY in the family values and relationship, fortification of love and respect among family members.
Strive: As an active and involved part of the community, we must STRIVE to arrive at knowing oneself by discovering and enhancing one’s talent/s and strength/s as well as learning to accept one’s weakness so as to make a change.
Sincerity: All unit functions and services must attempt the highest level of SINCERITY in learning capabilities and in studying habits as shall be manifested in the student teacher inter-action with the academic world equipped with the 21st century lifelong skills.
Invigorate: As an Educational Institution, we believe we must INVIGORATE in
identification with one’s motherland by becoming proud as a Filipino, to dream for its betterment and become globally competitive with the 21 st century skills and be a part to propagate pro-nature activities.
School Philosophy
It is often said, “If the foundation is weak, so is the structure.” Man is the highest form of God’s creation. He was created complete with the excellence of God’s intellect, moral as well as spiritual values.
Sin marred this perfection. Condemnation sat in and expressed itself in many
tentacles of insufficiencies including the mind. Out of this imbalance gave birth to children of genius genes, to some above average and yet some are special kids handicapped by many reasons.
These levels of intellect have to be discovered and met accordingly to be globally competitive. Together with the parents and the mentors we shape these children I the way they should be as clay in our hands.
We Believe:
That the Bible is inspired Word of God and is the revelation of God to man and authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

That there is One True God, the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of Mankind.

That there are three (3) Persons in the Godhead united but distinct from one another being – The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

That Man was created in the image of God, good and upright but by voluntary transgression fell and his only hope of salvation in Jesus Christ by His grace and not of work.

That those who lived up to the promise of God and obeyed His Word shall all lived together in the new heaven and new earth.

Our Statement of Faith

The couple who started Nissi Academy
The couple founded Nissi Educational Foundation Inc. in the year 1998 which later was changed to Nissi Academy Inc. in January 2000. The desire to build the school was a united purpose to train children in the way they should go for when the are old, they will not depart from it.
As young couple pastors whom God called to provide godly love and care to orphaned, abandoned and abused children in their early years of ministry way back in Surigao City, Surigao del Norte in the year 1979 was the same couple called by God to build a God-centered school in
Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu in 1997 where godly character, values and attribute will be instilled in the heart and mind of every child regardless of belief and religion. Hence the conception of the name “Nissi” which is a Hebrew word for the “Lord our banner”.
Nissi Academy Inc. will always be grateful for the heroic, selfless and bravely dedication and contribution of this couple to education who not only listened but above all, obeyed the calling of God passionately.

Graduated Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) with Masteral Units. She has been with Nissi Academy Inc. since 1998.
Jellian C. Sagmon
Junior Highschool Principal
Graduated Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English and has completed her Master in Education major in English She has been with Nissi Academy Inc. since 2015.
Amy D. Delima
Senior Highschool Principal
Graduated Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Math, completed her Master of Education in Math and is on the process of completing her Doctorate in Education. She has been with Nissi Academy Inc. since 2016.

Karl Eduard R. Bantigue
Director of Finance
Graduated Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and has completed his Masters in Business Administration major in Financial Management.
